Client Brief:
The client brief was to provide a ‘grown-up’ family holiday home also suitable for a global corporation’s overseas senior management when in UK on short term business trips. The house was built in 1930s arranged on two floors with five rooms on the ground floor and a large tropical-feel established garden with an outdoor swimming pool.

The Solution:
The house was designed with floor to ceiling glass doors the full width of the rear of the ground floor of the house. The open plan space between the interior and the garden is now the focal point. The overall design is based upon a beach house. The upper floors are luxurious in texture of products and colours have been selected to fit both 1930s and a beach house.
